UAC & Secure-Desktop Control
An optional SYSTEM-level session agent keeps you seeing and controlling the host straight through UAC consent prompts and the Windows secure desktop — no black or frozen frame.
Key benefits of UAC & Secure-Desktop Control
See UAC prompts
The secure desktop that shows UAC consent prompts stays visible instead of turning black.
Control elevated apps
Input reaches administrator windows, which Windows normally shields from remote tools.
Optional, and explicit
A system-level session agent does this. Without it, sessions still work; they just can't see the secure desktop.
How UAC & Secure-Desktop Control works
Most remote tools go black when Windows asks for permission. ScreenSharePRO keeps showing the screen and lets you answer.
-
Install with the service
Install ScreenSharePRO with its Windows service, which runs the session agent.
-
Connect as usual
Start a session from the app or the browser. Nothing else changes.
-
Answer the prompt
When a UAC prompt or the secure desktop appears, you see it and can respond.
What you get with UAC & Secure-Desktop Control
- The agent switches capture with the desktop, so the picture follows UAC and the sign-in screen
- Input to elevated windows goes through the agent
- Falls back to standard capture when the agent is not installed
