How FNCONLINE LLP collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with ScreenSharePRO.

Effective date: January 2027

1. Who we are

ScreenSharePRO is provided by FNCONLINE LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office at #2235, Sector 89, Mohali, Punjab – 140308, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, desktop software, and related services (the “Services”). For questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

Where we process personal data on behalf of a business customer (for example, session records and diagnostics for their users), that customer is the controller and we act as their processor under our Data Processing Agreement. This Policy describes the personal data for which we are the controller.

What we do not collect: we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal data. We do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data.

3. Your session content stays between you and the other device

During a session, the screen video, keyboard/mouse input, and clipboard data are transmitted directly between the two devices using end-to-end encrypted WebRTC, and are not stored on our servers. Where a direct connection is not possible, this content is relayed in encrypted form through a relay provider that cannot read it. We keep only the session records described above (such as IP addresses and timestamps) to operate and secure the Services.

4. How and why we use personal data

  • to provide, operate, and maintain the Services and your account;
  • to authenticate you and keep the Services and sessions secure;
  • to provide support and to diagnose and fix problems;
  • to communicate with you about the Services, including account emails (verifying your address, resetting your password, telling you your password was changed);
  • to run the feedback board: to show feature requests and votes, to decide what to build and fix, and to email you when the status of something you posted changes (you can turn these emails off on the “My reports” page);
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Legal bases (where the GDPR applies): performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services; your consent (where asked, e.g., optional diagnostic uploads); and compliance with legal obligations. Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we process personal data for the lawful purposes described here, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by that Act.

5. Who we share personal data with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under appropriate contracts:

ProviderPurpose
Microsoft AzureApplication hosting and database
GoDaddy (email)Sending support and contact emails
ExpressTurn (or a configured relay provider)Relaying encrypted session media when a direct connection is not possible

We may also disclose personal data where required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

We are based in India and use the providers above, which may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You may contact us for more information.

7. How long we keep personal data

  • Account and session records: for as long as your account is active. On account closure or on your request, we delete them within 30 days, unless a limited period is required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
  • Diagnostic and connection logs: automatically deleted after approximately 30 days.
  • Support/contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your request and for our records.
  • Feedback board posts and votes: for as long as the board exists or until you ask us to delete them. On request we delete your votes and your bug reports, and remove your name from any feature request you posted; the request itself may stay on the board because other people have voted for it.
  • Email verification and password reset links: single-use, and valid for 24 hours and 1 hour respectively.

Who can see what you post on the feedback board

Feature requests are public: anyone can read them, whether or not they are signed in. We never show your email address or name next to them. Bug reports are private: only you and our team can see them. If a problem affects other people, we may publish a “Known issue” about it, written by us in our own words and without your details. Replies from our team are shown publicly as “ScreenSharePRO team”. Please do not include passwords, session codes or other personal data in anything you post.

8. How we protect personal data

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS; sessions encrypted end-to-end via WebRTC); passwords stored only as one-way hashes; role-based access with administrative functions restricted to authorized staff; least-privilege access under confidentiality obligations; and code-signed, hardened release software. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a data-protection authority. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]; we will respond within the time required by law. If the GDPR applies, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority; if India’s DPDP Act applies, you may raise a grievance with us (below) and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies necessary for it to function (for example, security/anti-forgery and session cookies). We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is posted here with its effective date; material changes will be notified by reasonable means.
